Phoinikika: Glauketes Fragment (P.Oxy. 1368) is a short papyrus fragment of a Greek novel, assigned to Lollianus' Phoinikika because its character Glauketes also appears in the Cologne papyrus of that work. The attribution is therefore possible but not certain. In the scene, the ghost of a young man appears to Glauketes and tells him that he lies murdered beside a beautiful girl under a plane tree.
The fragment adds a ghost story to the sensational world of the Phoinikika. It shows how papyrus finds allow scholars to link scattered pieces of lost novels through shared names and themes, and it illustrates the taste for ghosts and the supernatural in ancient popular fiction.
